SPS POP-UP INSTALLATION
Shaping public space - Research project
Public exposition at Mostra Venice Biennale, Italy
2016

Time Space Existence exhibition.
Inspired by “Reporting from the Front” we presented our public design work in New York City and in Byblos, Lebanon.
The pavilion, an intimate space within the main exhibit, and the video entitled SPS: Shaping Public Space offer a spatial and temporal glimpse into our design process, highlighting research, concepts and synthesis. The pavilion was built locally with wood, cork and strings.
The Pop-Up installation had an interactive component: via the short video and physical sketchbooks, the visitors responded to these questions: What is public space? What makes a space public? What is your favorite public space?
The questions are still open: You are invited to respond by Twitter @aptarch #spsvenice.
SPS Pop-Up Installation is currently exhibited in Ticino, Switzerland.
